HOTEL ACCOMMODATION RULES

 HOTEL ACCOMMODATION RULES

The hotel provides accommodation, dining, and supplementary services.

The hotel may accommodate only a guest who is duly registered and holds a valid accommodation reservation. Upon arrival, the guest must present a valid identification document; foreign nationals must present a travel document in accordance with the Act on the Residence of Foreign Nationals in the Czech Republic. The guest must provide a guarantee by cash prepayment or pre-authorisation of a payment card in an amount corresponding to the accommodation and services provided. Registration at the hotel reception also applies to minors.

Proper registration entitles the guest to temporary accommodation for the agreed period.

After registration, the hotel will issue a room key card to the guest. In case of loss of the key (card), the guest must report the loss immediately at the reception. If the guest fails to do so, the hotel is not liable for any damage arising from the loss. A fee for a lost key or damaged key card will be charged according to the hotel’s fee schedule.

Based on a confirmed reservation and prepaid amount including VAT and all fees, the hotel is obligated to accommodate the guest from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. the following day in case of a guaranteed reservation, unless stated otherwise. Early check-in before 3:00 p.m. must be arranged in advance when making the reservation. The guest must vacate the room by 10:00 a.m. on the departure day unless another time has been agreed. Failure to do so entitles the hotel to charge an additional night.

Cancellation of a confirmed standard reservation: In case of cancellation of a guaranteed reservation, the hotel follows the cancellation terms stipulated in the reservation.

The hotel is not obliged to accommodate guests without a previously confirmed guaranteed reservation and prepaid amount.

If the guest does not present a valid ID document (ID card, passport), the hotel is entitled to refuse accommodation in accordance with the Act on Local Fees for Czech citizens and Act No. 314/2015 Coll. for foreign nationals.

The hotel reserves the right, in exceptional cases, to offer the guest alternative accommodation if it does not substantially differ from the confirmed reservation.

If a guest requests an extension of stay and the hotel has availability, the stay may be extended. The hotel may, however, offer a different room than the originally occupied one.

For accommodation and services used during the stay, the guest provides a guarantee in the form of an advance payment, a credit card pre-authorization, or a deposit paid at the hotel reception as security for services and other expenses, unless agreed otherwise. If the outstanding balance on the hotel account exceeds the guaranteed amount, the hotel may require the guest to increase this guarantee.

The accommodation ends on the date agreed with the guest. Proper check-out requires that the guest vacate the room by 10:00 a.m., return the key card to reception, and settle the account. Failure to do so entitles the hotel to charge a late departure fee or an additional night. If the guest checks in before 6:00 a.m., the hotel is entitled to charge the full price for the previous night.

Upon departure, the guest must report any minibar consumption. If not reported, the amount will be invoiced or charged to the guest’s credit card.

Upon registration, the guest must pay local fees not included in the accommodation price: Municipality fee CZK 35 per person per night.

Upon arrival, the guest must check the room equipment and report any missing or damaged items immediately at reception. Any damage occurring during the stay must also be reported.

The guest may use hotel equipment only for its intended purpose and according to the instructions provided.

The guest may not make any substantial changes to the room or hotel premises without hotel approval, including moving furniture or interfering with electrical or other installations.

Guests are not allowed to use their own electrical appliances in the hotel, except for personal hygiene devices (shaver, hair dryer, etc.) or low-power personal devices (laptops, phone chargers, etc.).

The guest is liable for any damage or theft of hotel property unless they can prove they did not cause it. Damages discovered after departure may also be charged. Fees are listed in the hotel’s fee schedule.

Visitors may be received only in public hotel areas. In accommodation areas, visitors are allowed only from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with reception approval. Outside these hours, only registered guests and staff may enter.

Pets may be accommodated under hotel conditions and with proof of good health. A fee may be charged according to the hotel’s price list. Pets may not be left unattended in rooms, lie on beds or furniture, and must be accompanied and leashed in public areas.

Guests must not bring dangerous items or substances into the hotel (weapons, explosives, flammables, corrosives, toxic substances, etc.), nor narcotic or psychotropic substances, or strongly odorous items.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hotel. A fine of CZK 5,000 will be charged for violation.

Guests must observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Entry and parking are allowed only in designated areas. The hotel is not liable for theft or damage to vehicles. Guests are advised to lock their vehicles and remove valuables. The hotel is not responsible for theft of items from cars nor for damage caused by guests to third parties or hotel property.

Children under ten may not be left unattended in hotel rooms or other areas. Parents are fully responsible for any damage caused by children.

In case of illness or injury, the hotel will arrange medical assistance. Transfer and treatment costs are borne by the guest.

When leaving the room, the guest must close water taps, switch off lights, close windows, and lock the room.

All guests must act to prevent fire. Fire safety instructions and escape plans are posted on room doors.

In case of fire, guests must report the alarm and may use fire extinguishers located on each floor.

The hotel is not responsible for valuables stored outside the safe or designated storage areas.

Entry into an occupied room is permitted to the assigned housekeeper, housekeeping manager, reception staff, hotel management, and maintenance personnel in case of a reported technical issue.

Lost items are stored for 14 days. The hotel will send them to the guest upon request and at the guest’s expense.

Complaints and suggestions may be submitted in writing at reception or by email at gm@hotely-srni.cz
.

Guests must comply with these Accommodation Rules. If a guest seriously violates the rules or good manners despite a warning, the hotel may terminate their stay and require full payment. The guest must leave the hotel immediately.
